The I Choose Living Retreats have been developed to inspire and support people living with the challenges of cancer. They build on past courses and recognise the unique needs that each of us has for emotional healing and support, including those that have survived cancer and the main carers of those who are going through this journey.
The diagnosis of cancer or serious illness profoundly impacts our lives and our residential retreat is designed for people seeking ways to actively contribute to their own healing and make meaning of this challenging experience. The retreat will use a range of effective transformational approaches such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and other META-Health approaches to explore avenues of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing and ultimately encourage participants to find their own solutions and answers. Partners and loved ones are encouraged to attend and some focused sessions can be conducted specifically for them to explain their role in supporting participants.
The role of intuition in healing, taking charge of our thoughts and feelings and practical strategies to manage aspects of illness are covered as well as dietary guidelines and meditation. The content of each program is tailored to the specific participants and addresses practical aspects of living well with cancer and creating an environment for healing.
Our seven day residential retreat allow you to focus on your own life without distraction and learn valuable life skills and strategies that allow for healing and peace. We hope you will unlock the keys to assist in your healing journey.
Our programme is unique in many ways and designed to:
- Be compatible with any chosen approach to healing
- Make any healing approach more powerful and effective
- Improve self-healing abilities
- Support the cancer affected, their supporters, carers and survivors
